Aim For A Star
This is a wonderful poem to reflect on as you set your goals. Setting your goals to low can be useless in achieving the success that you want. You have to believe in yourself and your ability to achieve your goal. Do not get discouraged when you face roadblocks or challenges. Find a way to overcome the challenge. A proverb that reinforces this thought: "Where there is a will, there is a way." Let this poem inspire you to aim for the stars!

Aim for a star!
Aim for a star!
Aim for a star, and keep
Never be satisfied
With a life that is less
than the best,
Failure lies only
in not having tried-
In keeping the soul
suppressed.
Look up and away,
And follow its
beckoning beam,
Make each tomorrow
a better Today-
And don't be afraid
to dream.
your sights high!
With a heartful of faith
within,
Your feet on the ground,
and your eyes on the sky,
Some day you are bound to win!

I agree with the line in the poem: "failure lies only in not having tried". So many people fail because they don't start, they take no action, they set no goals.
Aim for a star - what is your dream? As Walt Disney once said, " If you can dream it, you can do it." All goals start first as a dream. The difference between a dream and a goal is action. But if you can dream it, you can achieve it with action and determination.
