Does goal setting forms help you achieve your goal. There are many different forms available for goal setting. The most important thing is to write your goal down. Whether you use a form or a blank piece of paper, writing your goal is the first step to success in goal setting.

What is important is not so much the form that you use, but the fact that you write down your goal.

Writing down your goal focuses your thoughts and allows you to see a plan of how you will achieve your goal. You have a printed or written record of where you want to be and by when. You can post your written goals someone where you can see them everyday.

Your goal should be:
- specific and measurable
- with time frames
- action plans.

By doing this it will allow you to track your progress towards your goal. It will also allow you to document any adjustments you need to do in your action plan or time frames. Your overall goal will not change, but how you accomplish your objective may have to be altered.

By using a form to record your goal you are making a commitment to yourself to achieve your dream.
